The finished slab
The concrete between the columns is the only place we draw a row.
Kolathur · written price
The amount you pay stays on the finished slab between the columns. If you already own the panels and inverter, fitting starts at ₹3,000 per kW. A complete plant is priced after a free visit from Madipakkam.

A floor that is not cast yet
Columns for a next floor can already stand on the terrace. We draw the row only on the finished slab between those columns. If the owner says the next slab is still coming, we do not start, because this is not the final roof. The tank stays. A walkway stays. A terrace with no columns, and a roof the owner calls final, is an ordinary survey. The roof itself is on panels for a Kolathur home. What a panel rate leaves out is on solar panel prices in Kolathur.
Labour from ₹3,000 per kW covers civil work, mounting, wiring, testing, and commissioning when the modules and inverter are already yours. Cables and structure steel stay outside that rate. The scope is on installation services.

The columns stay. If the next slab is still coming, we do not start.
On the finished slab, the tank stays and a path stays. The row uses what remains.
Eligible homeowners can receive up to ₹78,000 with DCR modules and an approved file. Amount and approval follow current scheme rules. Compare the price after that assistance.
How to read the sheet
Ask whether the row stayed between the columns, DCR or NDCR, what is excluded, and who files the net meter and the subsidy. Independent houses are the usual fit. A flat cannot take a common roof.
How any Chennai quote should be lined up is on panel and price. NDCR against DCR is in that guide. A later room is the West Mambalam price.
