Stair head
Rows stop on either side of the headroom. We do not bridge modules across the room, and we do not price a long rectangle that cannot be built.
Nanganallur · written price
The amount you pay follows two short rows around the stair head. If you already own the panels and inverter, fitting starts at ₹3,000 per kW. A complete plant is priced after a free visit from Madipakkam.

The shape of the roof
The streets around the Anjaneyar temple are lined with owner-occupied houses. The stair head, the water tank, and sometimes a solar water heater already take the middle or one corner. A single row run straight across that roof blocks the way to the tank lid. Two shorter rows, with a path between them, use more steel per kilowatt than one straight run on an open roof. If one side is too narrow, that side stays empty. The drawing is on panels for a Nanganallur home. What a panel rate leaves out is on solar panel prices in Nanganallur.
Labour from ₹3,000 per kW covers civil work, mounting, wiring, testing, and commissioning when the modules and inverter are already yours. Cables and structure steel stay outside that rate. The scope is on installation services.

The gap between the rows stays open. Filling it to raise the kilowatt number takes away the way to the lid.
A solar water heater keeps its sunny corner. Modules use the clear area that remains, so the plant is smaller than the roof outline.
Eligible homeowners can receive up to ₹78,000 with DCR modules and an approved file. Amount and approval follow current scheme rules. Compare the price after that assistance.
How to read the sheet
Ask for module count on each side, whether one side was left empty, DCR or NDCR, what is excluded, and who files the net meter and the subsidy. Owner-occupied houses are the usual fit. A flat proceeds after the association has allowed that home to use the roof, in writing.
How any Chennai quote should be lined up is on panel and price. NDCR against DCR is in that guide. A used terrace with pots and a tank is the Madipakkam price.

It keeps its corner. Modules take the clear area that is left. The gap to the tank lid is not filled to raise the kilowatt number.
DCR modules keep the path to up to ₹78,000 open. A cheaper NDCR module can cost more once that assistance is given up. Ask who files the papers.
