The rear concrete
The slab over the rooms behind the shop is the only place we draw a row.
Saidapet · written price
The amount you pay stays on the concrete behind the shop, not the sheet. If you already own the panels and inverter, fitting starts at ₹3,000 per kW. A complete plant is priced after a free visit from Madipakkam.

What the market lane is pointing at
On a market lane, the sheet you see from the street is the shop roof. Rails are not screwed through it. We mark the concrete over the rooms behind, leave the tank and a walkway, and price that area if it matches the home's daytime use. The plant is not sized from the shop bill. A house that is already all concrete, with no shop sheet, is an ordinary survey. The roof itself is on panels for a Saidapet home. What a panel rate leaves out is on solar panel prices in Saidapet.
Labour from ₹3,000 per kW covers civil work, mounting, wiring, testing, and commissioning when the modules and inverter are already yours. Cables and structure steel stay outside that rate. The scope is on installation services.

The slab over the rooms behind the shop is the only place we draw a row.
The sheet is the shop roof. Rails are not screwed through it, and it is not spare area.
On the rear concrete, the tank stays and a path stays. The row uses what remains.
Eligible homeowners can receive up to ₹78,000 with DCR modules and an approved file. Amount and approval follow current scheme rules. Compare the price after that assistance.
How to read the sheet
Ask whether the shop sheet was left undrilled, DCR or NDCR, what is excluded, and who files the net meter and the subsidy. A home with its own concrete terrace is the usual fit. The plant is not sized from the shop bill. A flat cannot take the common roof of a large block.
How any Chennai quote should be lined up is on panel and price. NDCR against DCR is in that guide. A wet corner is the Royapettah price.
