Nanganallur G+1 houses

Solar panels for your home in Nanganallur.

Most roofs here belong to independent houses, not beach flats. A stair head often sits in the middle of the terrace, so the modules go in two short rows around it. ZeroEB comes from the Madipakkam office. The visit is free, and no steel is ordered that day.

The shape of the roof

Two short rows, not one long rectangle.

The streets around the Anjaneyar temple are lined with owner-occupied houses. The stair head, the water tank, and sometimes a solar water heater already take the middle or one corner. A single row run straight across that roof blocks the way to the tank lid. We put a shorter row on each clear side and leave a path between them.

Module choice for the wider city is on panels for a Chennai home. A garden terrace beside our office is the Madipakkam case. A neighbouring tower is the Velachery case. Salt air belongs on the coast. Here the stair head decides the drawing.

Checked before a drawing

What decides the row length.

01

Stair head

The headroom stays. Rows stop on either side of it. We do not bridge modules across the room.

02

Tank lid

Someone still has to open the tank. The gap between the rows is that path, not a place we fill to raise the kilowatt number.

03

Water heater

If a solar water heater already owns a sunny corner, it stays there. Modules use whatever clear area remains.

04

DCR

Central assistance needs cells and modules made in India. Eligible homes can receive up to ₹78,000. The amount follows the scheme on the day you apply.

Which homes

A house with its own terrace.

Owner-occupied houses are the usual fit, including those on the streets around the Anjaneyar temple. A flat proceeds only after the association has allowed that home to use the roof, in writing. A balcony is not a mounting place.

If one side of the stair head is too narrow, that side is left empty and the plant is the other row alone. How the frame is fixed is on solar panel installation. Modules you already bought are labour, quoted on installation services. The Nanganallur figure is on solar panels and prices in Nanganallur. How the crew sets the row is on solar panels and installation in Nanganallur. The subsidy gap is explained on panel and price. NDCR against DCR is in that guide before an import is confirmed.

Before the visit

Three layout questions, then the subsidy.

Do you visit Nanganallur from Madipakkam?

Yes. The roof visit is free. A recent bill is enough to start. You can stop once the drawing is explained. No steel is ordered that day.

The stair room is in the centre. Can modules still fit?

Usually as two short rows, one on each clear side. If only one side is open, we use that side alone. We do not run a long row through the headroom.

A solar water heater is already up there. Must it move?

No. It keeps its corner. Modules take the clear area that is left, and the path to the tank lid stays open.

Which modules qualify for the subsidy?

DCR modules, with cells and modules made in India. Eligible homes can receive up to ₹78,000, subject to the scheme on the day you apply. NDCR is only if that assistance has already been given up.

Have the Nanganallur terrace drawn as two rows first.
