Older lanes between Pallavaram and Tambaram

Solar panels for your home in Chromepet.

Many houses here grew one room at a time. The first slab and the later slab are not always the same level. A single rail line cannot cross that step. Each level is counted on its own. The visit from Madipakkam is free.

Steel rails over part of a tiled terrace, with modules still lying on the slab

Find the step before the count

Two slabs, two counts.

A difference of a few inches is still a break. Rails stay on one plane. The larger level, when it matches the daytime bill, is the plant. A narrow lower strip that is only a passage to the tank stays empty. We do not bridge the step to make one longer row. A house that is one slab throughout is an ordinary terrace. The tank stays, and a walkway stays.

A room standing on a single slab is the Injambakkam case. A roof still waiting for another floor is the Medavakkam case. The hill above a parapet is Pallavaram. Traffic film on GST Road is Alandur. Railway wires beside a plot are Tambaram. City-wide module choice is on panels for a Chennai home.

Marked before a count

Four checks on an extended house.

01

The step

We look for a joint where a later room meets the first slab. That line is marked before any module is counted.

02

One plane

Each level gets its own row, or only the larger level is used. The rails do not climb the step.

03

One slab

If the terrace is a single level, including in lanes such as Hasthinapuram, the survey is ordinary. The tank and a walkway stay.

04

DCR

Central assistance needs cells and modules made in India. Eligible homes can receive up to ₹78,000. The amount follows the scheme on the day you apply.

Who it suits

A house with its own terrace.

Independent houses in the older lanes, and on a single slab away from the step, are the usual fit. A shop bill under the home is the Palavakkam case. A flat cannot claim the common roof of a large block. That limit is the Sholinganallur page.

How the row is fixed once each level is marked is on solar panel installation. Modules you already hold are labour from ₹3,000 per kW, materials excluded, on installation services. The Chromepet figure is on solar panels and prices in Chromepet. How the crew sets the row is on solar panels and installation in Chromepet. The subsidy gap is on panel and price. NDCR against DCR is in that guide before an import is confirmed.

The step, then the row.

Do you visit Chromepet from Madipakkam?

Yes. The roof visit is free. A recent bill and a photo of any step in the terrace are enough to start. No modules are ordered that day.

The later room's slab is lower. Can one row cover both?

No. Rails stay on one plane. A narrow lower strip that is only a passage stays empty.

The terrace is one level. Does the same limit apply?

No. One slab is a normal terrace survey. The tank stays, and a walkway stays.

Do subsidy plants need DCR modules?

Yes. Cells and modules must be made in India. Eligible homes can receive up to ₹78,000, subject to the scheme on the day you apply. NDCR is only if that assistance has already been given up.

Send a photo that shows any step in the terrace.

A free visit from Madipakkam. We mark each slab level, the row that fits, and whether the plant should be DCR.
